The "Color Our World" Summer Reading Program has arrived at the Pass Christian Library! We encourage you to join us for the Pass Christian Library Family Programs every Wednesday at 10 am, from May 28 to July 2, 2025. Our featured programs include learning about the color of light with librarian Geoff Conwell, illustrating with Chuck Galey, hands-on activities in the Science and Engineering of Pottery with Steve Barney, exploring our shorebirds with Audubon Delta Mississippi, and creating American Pop Art with artist Michael Albert. The closing reading party is on July 2 at 10 am, where we will host the program A Visit from Hattiesburg Zoo, along with reading prizes and snowballs. Each of these programs is free and packed with reading fun.

The "Color Our World" Summer Reading Program has arrived at the Pass Christian Library! We encourage you to join us for the Pass Christian Library Family Programs every Wednesday at 10 am, from May 28 to July 2, 2025. Our featured programs include learning about the color of light with librarian Geoff Conwell, illustrating with Chuck Galey, hands-on activities in the Science and Engineering of Pottery with Steve Barney, exploring our shorebirds with Audubon Delta Mississippi, and creating American Pop Art with artist Michael Albert. The closing reading party is on July 2 at 10 am, where we will host the program A Visit from Hattiesburg Zoo, along with reading prizes and snowballs. Each of these programs is free and packed with reading fun.

Participants will learn how to administer Narcan (naloxone)—a life-saving medication that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose—and how to use fentanyl testing strips to identify the presence of fentanyl in substances.

Pass Christian - Teen Art for Youth Sake - Gyotaku Fish Prints with Specialist Mary Terwilliger
For over 25 years, the Pass Christian Public Library has partnered with the Pass Christian Art Association and local community artists to organize "Art for Youth's Sake" summer art classes for teens aged 12-18 years old. Classes are free and will take place on Thursdays at 2 p.m. Classes include Pottery, Grayscale Rendering Landscape Art, Gyotaku-Fish Prints, and Portrait Watercolor. Enrollment is limited, so call the library at 228-452-4596 to register for the classes you are interested in.

This week our activity for teens is Harry Potter Wands.
This program is 100% free for all students. Summer reading programs are beneficial in many ways.

Indoor Activities- During the summer, it is very hot in Woolmarket. Our indoor activities allow for learning and fun inside.

Crafts- Our program is not only reading, but we also conduct an art project every day.
