LIGHTS! CAMERA! ACTION! is a five-day film workshop for high school students,hosted by the Pass Christian Library. The workshop will take place from  June 16 to June 20^th, 2025, from1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. During the workshop, students will learn about filmscripting, directing, shooting, and video editing from Film Professor Dr.Richard Ward. The workshop is open tostudents between the ages of 12 and 18. Enrollment is limited, so interestedstudents should call the Pass Christian Library at 228-452-4596 to register.The workshop is free.

The Woolmarket Library presents Teen Time on Thursday. Over the summer, we conduct a summer reading program. 


This week our activity for teens is beaded key chains.

This program is 100% free for all students. Summer reading programs are beneficial in many ways.

• Prevent Summer Slide- children may lose some of their academic gains. Regular reading keeps their skills sharp.

• Indoor Activities- During the summer, it is very hot in Woolmarket. Our indoor activities allow for learning and fun inside.

• Crafts- Our program is not only reading, but we also conduct an art project every day.

Judy Dalgo is presenting this free training program designed to educate community members on how to prevent, recognize, and respond to opioid overdoses. Participants will learn how to administer Narcan (naloxone)—a life-saving medication that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose—and how to use fentanyl testing strips to identify the presence of fentanyl in substances.

If you're interested in learning the techniques, ingredients, andutensils needed to make sushi, then this is the perfect class for you. Allmaterials will be provided, so all you need to bring is a positive attitude to"roll up" some knowledge.

The Pass Christian Public Library is thrilled to inviteteens to the "Begin Your Story" Creative Writing Workshoppresented by our local author, Margaret McMullan. The workshop will take placeon June 30, 2025, at 2 pm. During the workshop, youngwriters will use various writing prompts to create stories, essays, or evenpoems.
