New Biloxi Library Modeled

September 17, 1975

A scale model of Biloxi's proposed $1.6 million library cultural center will be exhibited at the first general meeting of the Friends of the Biloxi Library at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the West Biloxi Library. Mrs. Fred Hartman, head librarian, and Cono Caranna II, city attorney, as guest speakers will explain the architecture of center scheduled for construction at Lameuse and Jackson streets. An organizational meeting of the newly formed Friends group will follow. Three other friends meetings are scheduled throughout the 1975-76 year.
