In the Fiscal Year of 2001, the Harrison County Library System was awarded a construction grant of $300,000 from the Mississippi Library Commission. This grant, combined with a generous award of a matching $300,000 from the City of Biloxi and a $100,000 commitment from Supervisor Connie Rocko, have gone toward the construction of an addition to the Margaret S. Sherry Memorial Branch Library located on Popps Ferry Road, Biloxi.
